My dad gifted me a Creative Cloud key. After activating it, it took me to the Creative Cloud website where I could access all the Adobe apps. Unfortunately, for some reason, I can’t seem to open Premiere Pro, which is the main reason my dad bought me this key. Photoshop, on the other hand, works just fine.
It says, "Essential applications included in your Creative Cloud Pro subscription," and Premiere Pro is listed under that category, but it says Buy underneath it. The same happens for Photoshop, but when I press the three dots next to Photoshop, there is an Open option which works perfectly. For Premiere Pro, the Open option doesn’t appear.
Did my dad buy the wrong key by any chance?
You have to sign-in on the Creative Cloud desktop app. Check the "HELP" menu across the top. When you are signed in, you will not see Buy or Free trial buttons but only the Open button. You have to sign-in using the same account that you have with the "Key" your dad got for you.
