Premiere pro preview freeze mac os26 tahoe

After upgrading my MacBook to the macOS beta version (Tahoe), Adobe Premiere Pro keeps freezing during preview playback. Before the upgrade, everything worked fine with the same projects and settings, but since the update, the preview consistently freezes.

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution?

Hi there,

 

Since you're on a beta version of macOS, it's possible that it might not be fully optimized yet, which could lead to such issues. Is the app freezing specifically during playback, or is it also freezing during rendering or export? Are you noticing any increased memory utilization when the app freezes? If you're working on major projects, switching back to the stable macOS release might provide a more reliable experience.

You may have to revert your OS installation back to the most recent official release version. Adobe programs do not currently support any version of macOS 26 yet.
