Premiere pro timelapse render issue

I am getting a flag occasionally when I am trying to put together a time-lapse from jpegs.  I am getting an unknown error.  Rendering won't go past a jpeg.  If I delete one or two on the time line it will continue only to hit another one.  This goes on and on.  Then randomly I will have no problems and the whole time-lapse will just render no problem.  Occasionally the jpegs will go red randomly after rendering.  So one image out of the blue will flash red.

I am not sure why this is happening or if anyone else has had this trouble.

I am running on a Mac book pro with mac OS High Seirra.  And I am on the adobe cloud.  All my software is current.

What is the origin of the sequence of images, are from a GoPro.

If so, check that there are no numbering breaks caused by pauses in filming.

Open the files with Photoshop and save them again, to re-encapsulate.

And a tip, do not use JPEG if you can avoid it, it gives problems.

Timelapses are far better handled inside After Effects than Premiere Pro.

Consider doing this in AE and then dynamically link it back into Premiere Pro.

Instead of using all separate stills you might want to have a look at image sequence.

    Search results for image sequences.

I have tried that.  I try to import by selecting first image.  Then check image sequence box.  And all I get it the one image importing...

Your images need to be sequential and named simple: e.g. 0001.jpg, 0002.jpg etc.
