    That is Variable Frame Rate.

Use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:

    >audio and video is out of sync

MOV is a wrapper, what is inside YOUR wrapper - Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the program below
Free program to get file information for PC/Mac http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
    - when you analyze your file in MediaInfo and post a screen shot in the forum, do so in TREE view
    - post your information IN your message, not as an attachment that someone would have to download
    .
Does your video use a Variable Frame Rate? See https://community.adobe.com/t5/Premiere-Pro/Variable-frame-rate-video-with-Premiere-Pro/td-p/4601935
If yes, use https://handbrake.fr/ open source transcoder/converter to convert to Constant Frame Rate

I had this issue on a project I was working on.  All videos shot on an iPhone would give me this error.  After researching TONS on this website (and using many different searches), I remember seeing something about Handbrake.  So, I decided to try Handbrake.  The only issue is it takes FOREVER to convert the files and Handbrake converts them from a .mov file to a .m4v.  So Handbrake works but you better pop some popcorn b/c the 30 .mov files I get to convert is going to take a very, very, very long time.

    Thanks for your help,
