Question

Premiere Pro won't download - nothing close to

Hi,

I've recently had a bigger memory added to my desktop. I've been uploading all my software back on the computer. So far so good - except for Adobe Premiere Pro...

I went along to my home-page at Adobe and pressed 'download' for Premiere Pro. Once clicking that, I go to my 'Downloads' list and press to 'open file,' but nothing happens that I can see... Nothing.

As others have mentioned, it does seem the CC Desktop app is the missing link. I've been doing a lot of installing lately and there's nothing in the download folder to click on. That may not be the case if you use a browser and attempt to install. But that will end up wanting to install CC Desktop app first.

Did you install the Creative Cloud app and then install from there?

Downloading Premiere means that it will get installed on the fly.

It does not appear in the Download list but straight in the C: \ Program Files folder.

Hi,

It is appearing in download list on my 'net browsers and in my download folder (the browser is actually instructing me to check my download list). It's from these sources that I click to open, but I see nothing materialise.

Complete computer specs would be helpful.

What version of Premiere Pro?

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

Hi, and thanks for replying...

Hello there,

It's a Desktop B99APPL

Disc C : 475GB (175 GB free).

I really can't get into more detail than that - at the present time - as I'll be here all night. I've previously had other issues with Premiere Pro (it didn't run a 2024 updated version so I had to keep using a 2023 version I had). The version of Premiere Pro I'm trying to download/install is the one currently available online on my Adobe apps homepage (United Kingdom).

You need to be more specific on the computer specs. B99APPL does not mean much.

also You will have to install the Adobe CC desktop app and download Premiere 2024 (or maybe 2023) from there.
