Question

Premiere Reboots PC only with 64GB Ram, how to fix?

A very strange fact, my Premiere 24.1, crashes usually as soos as I press the "Export" button, but sometimes also in other moments.

I got 4x16GB DDR4 3600Mhz RAM modules

Removed 2, Premiere works flawless.

"Nice!" I think, I just got a defective ram module! So I remove the "good two" and install the others two and....work flawless too 😐

Re-install all four modules...load a project...export video...BOOM, reboot.

Don't know what to think....is there something that I must do to make the program compatible with all 64GB of RAM installed? I'm going crazy

p.s. I tested all 4 ram modules with memtest86 and no errors were found.

Thanks

Instead of removing the sticks lower the speed in the bios.

I used to have the same issue.

Well, just try the lower speed, like 3200. I'm with 64gb and all is well.

I'm running 128GB of RAM also, without issue. I think something needs attention in your system. Maybe a bios thing or something. @RjL190365 might have an idea.

I have 128 GB of much older RAM installed and it has been working flawlessly since 2017... are you sure your motherboard supports this type of RAM in sets of four?

yes sure...I use many others applications and games and I NEVER got a problem!
