Premiere vs After effects

Hi, I took an introductory course on Adobe Premiere. Unfortunately, the course I took refers to the 2020 version.
Course contents:
2- Interface and first steps
3- Set up the project and the sequence
4- Import and acquire contributions
5- Basic editing
6- Advanced editing
7- Use transitions
8- Apply video effects
9- Animate effects and clips
10- Post-production techniques: compositing
11- Add graphics and text
12- Audio editing and mixing
13- Export the work

I will have to review the course to start doing something...

But now I started a course on After Effects and I notice that there are many similarities with Premiere.

Question: what are the advantages of using Premiere since After Effects [seems] to do many similar things?

Premiere Pro is designed for video editing—it's great for cutting clips, organizing projects, and assembling your final video. You’ll use Premiere for most of the timeline-based work like adding transitions, adjusting audio, and basic effects.

After Effects is more specialized for motion graphics and visual effects. If you need to create complex animations, track motion, or add effects like text animations or keying, that’s where After Effects excels.

Often, you’ll do most of your editing in Premiere and then jump into After Effects for more advanced effects using Dynamic Link, which allows both programs to work seamlessly together.

After Effects is often used for single shot repairs and animation, it is not great for longer work.
