I can' t seem to export to queue from premiere to Encoder.. i get error message that Media Encoder is not installed .. not only is it installed, it is also open ... I can import from encoder, though it takes forever .. but can't export from premier to encoder ... I can't seem to find any information or fixes any where online .. nor am i able to find Tech Help on adobe like the old days ... Paying more for Adobe software with less support!

Does anyone have a fix?

I don't understand .. i thought the whole point of CC is that the software is updated regularly .. since i installed both programs at the same  time and regularly update when the system asks . shouldn't Adobe have adjusted this themselves .. why would my premiere be 2018 and my encoder 2017 ???

That CC Desktop App is mortal ... like all computer systems/apps ... never assume anything on or of a computer is perfect.

Never assume an auto-save setup will save your bacon, as under perfect conditions it will fry you totally. Save manually, do Save-as iterative and keep working the new project file, and Save a Copy to other locations.

Never assume your video drivers are up to date. Weekly, go to your GPU manufacturer's site and check latest driver for your GPU against the one installed on your machine.

Never assume your program, CC or otherwise, is updated ... check against the manufacturer's website.

    Basic Computer 101.

    Hi vidv30699923,

It requires both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder updated to the same version. Install Media Encoder 2017 and check the issue.

Here are the steps: Install the previous version of your Creative Cloud app

    Let us know the status.

    Thanks,

    Vidya

Go to the Help/About menus and post the build numbers of each app.
