hi guys and girls ,

im praying someone can help me as iv dropped myself in it good and proppa this time .

i only make home videos for friends and family and recently iv filmed and edited a prom night for my daughter and her boyfriend .

at the end of this video i tried to render out in 4k 16.9 but it kept adding large black bars to each side of my video , nomatter what i did then i reallyised my mistake.

id filmed on a gopro at 5k and id left the sequence settings at 5568 x 4176 in 4.3 ratio.

iv tried making a new sequence 3840 x 2160 pixel 4k and pasting over the footage which works to a certain degree as i get the audio but no video shows ?

theres a couple of video clips at the start that shows up but nothink else ?

im using the latest versions as i have CC installed and ill attach some photos for your convenience .

im not a really good editer but any help would be fantsic please .

thank you

Click OK.  That will only delete the cache files, which will be recreated as needed.

I would try this first. If you get lucky, you may be good to go.

Export, pick what you actually want (4K or UHD?), and in the export preview window, set it to Scale to Fill, NOT Scale to Fit.

If that crops too much top or bottom, then you may have to a) create a sequence that is the correct size, b) drag in the old sequence set not to nest but to bring in actual clips, and c) scale each clip/zoom/etc to work.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
