How is it that we can modify the screen size (1080 x 1920) to export video for TikTok?  Stuck on each version we have (PPCC 2018-2014).

What I did initially was export sizeways.

Thanks!

Hi Kenneth,

To export video for TikTok in older versions of Premiere Pro (PPCC 2018-2014), follow these steps:

1. Go to File > New > Sequence.
2. In the New Sequence window, under the Settings tab, enter the frame size 1080 x 1920. Make sure the frame rate matches your footage.

You can either nest your original sequence in this new one and scale it up, or copy/paste the clips and manually scale and reposition each clip.

It's much easier in Premiere Pro 2020 onwards. You can simply load your sequence and choose Sequences > Auto Reframe Sequence. Change the Target Aspect Ratio to Vertical 9:16 and click Create. Premiere will automatically scale and reposition each clip to suit the new aspect ratio.

Cheers,
Paul
