Afternoon all,

 

I am wanting to know what the '.prmdc2' files are for. What information do they store in them? I know filenames and filepaths are, but are these unique to a project?

Those are the cache files. Created for specific things, and can be recreated at need.

Can I restore a project only out of that prmdc2 Cache Data?

Footage is still alive at my NAS, but something went wrong by copying and i have no project file anymore.

Please check the folder Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save that should in the location where you stored the original Project File. You may not have exactly the latest version, but it will not be far off and not all is lost.
