Problem with masking

Hey guys, i'm having a problem here. I want to mask out the words on the building but my mask isn't showing. Also i want the guy standing there not interfering with the mask. After this shot he walks to the left. Can somebody please help me?

You are masking V1 and its covered by V2 with the same footage it wont do much.

This is not a job for Premiere.

If the guy is moving around over the text best is to head over to After Effects and use the rotobrush.
