PROBLEMS IMPORTING MUSIC

I'm trying to import music to my Premiere Pro project but it keeps saying there is a "generic problem" and it doesn't allow me to import the song. I cleaned the media files from the caché and it still doesn't work. Do you know what can I do? Thanks  a lot!

Is it copy protected?

Bob,

My feeling is that YouTube might be clamping down on copyright violations. I am researching the problem now. Maybe the OP can clue us in and help out the community.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi,

Where did you get this music file? Is it an .mp3?

Thanks,
Kevin

Avoid .mp3 files.

Open the .mp3 files in Adobe Audition convert the sample rate to 48000 using Edit > Convert Sample Type and save the file as a .wav file. Import the.wav file and use it.
