Hello everyone.

I updated the premiere for the 2019 version, reinstalled the audio and video cards and quicktime 7.7.9 however the program is giving error when trying to open the mov format.

Does anyone know why?
Working on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
32 MB RAM
GPU Acceleration CUDA
Device Class ASIO
Blackmagic Audio

Thank you.

    Hi AxM,
It could be that your files are no longer supported: Dropped support for QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs

Let us know if that is the case.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

What is the origin of this file?

If it is a screen capture run in through Handbrake, set it to constant framerate and try again.

    Hi Ann,

These files come from external recordings, are captured on SSD but are always transported to the computer for editing. In the previous versions they opened normally.

    Hello Dean.

Yes, I can watch the videos in VLC and Quicktime.

Do the videos play outside of Premiere?

Here is a thread with someone who reported a similar problem:
    Premiere not importing mov files.

    The solution above was installing:
