What hardware are you using. Win, Mac, and the processor, etc...

You can use Intel official utility to check if your CPU has AVX2 or not. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000090473/processors/intel-core-processors.html

Mine doesn't even have AVX1, but it's working fine. What does AVX2 do? Why it is a minimum requirement?

What PP version are you on, and your OS?

I rarely use PP, mostly AE and Media Encoder with Windows occasionally. CC Cloud won't upgrade latest version due to AVX2, no biggies.

Sorry, but your processor is too old for the 2024 version. AVX2 support did not arrive onto Intel platforms until the 4th-Gen Intel Core CPUs were introduced in 2013. For AMD, one would have had to wait until the first-gen Ryzen CPUs were introduced in 2017.

I have already read this, but my processor don't have this feature (its from 1st generation of intel core). I would like to know how can i download without a compatible processor?

Thank you.

Sorry mate. Adobe allows a wide range of hardware to be used with their software, but if you don't meet the minimum requirements, that's as far as it goes. Stick with whatever version you can use, if 2023, you can use that. I have a side rig I use for other stuff now, but it still has 2017 on it, because, that's when that computer was good and the software worked with that hardware. Each generation of software needs more and more hardware... that's the nature of software. You wont get good performance with modern software on an older machine.

We just had a thread with the same issue. It was fixed by enabling AVX2 in the bios
