Project appears to be damaged and Error opening project

I have read through all the forums posted about this topic but still haven't found a solution.

I recently had a drive get corrupted and lost its partition.  I used a recovery program to recover all my files from the drive.  The videos play fine, and I can open all the files I've tried to so far, with the exception of all the project files, which keep throwing this error.

I have tried several different computers, I have tried creating a new project, and importing select sequences, and continue to get this error.  Is there any way I can access the code to the project file and fix whatever is preventing it from opening?

Did you save backup copies or have your autosaves on another drive?

It sounds like you might have to start from scratch.... do new edit with the files you were able to salvage ( video and sound etc. )

It throws an error saying CRC failed.

Bummer. That means 2 programs can't open it. And if 7zip has a problem with the archive, it's unlikely PP is going to open it.

See if there are any other files you can find that might help you along. Older copies, etc. I've recovered several drives in the past, and a lot of info can be found. When those files are corrupted, there's little you can do.

Not to increase the pain, but any backups? I save the files every day to a different hard-drive inside the computer, and to external drives somewhat less frequently. I save a numbered backup copy every day before I start. You might have some autosave files available on the recovery drive, etc.

    Yeah seriously.

I have my autosave setup to the creative cloud folder on my desktop that syncs to adobe's cloud.  For some coincidental reason this project is like the only on I can find that did not have a backup that was synced there..
