Project export taking up all my memory on MacBook Pro (18GB of RAM)

I have a brand new MacBook Pro with the M3 pro chip and 18GB of RAM and I can't export a 25 min video out of Premiere without getting an "application memory error" popping up on my Mac. My computer freezes, Premiere stops responding, and I have to restart my computer every time. I have spent hours on the phone with Adobe and in the Apple store and still haven't solved it. I don't know how a 7GB file is taking up all my RAM. I'm exporting with video previews and the whole sequence is rendered. It's 4K GoPro MAX footage, so I'm using the FX reframe filter to reframe the clips. I've exported smaller files with some of these video clips to test if any are corrupted and it appears that everything is fine. I've troubleshooted for hours and haven't been able to figure it out. I recently got 98% done with the export and it crashed again! Any suggestions?????

Hi @hmcglash,

Thanks for writing in with your problem. It sounds like you might have a corrupt sequence or project. You might first try copying and pasting the previous sequence's items into a new sequence. If you are still having trouble consider creating a new project and importing the contents of the last project to there. See if you can open the sequence there without the RAM spiraling up again. I hope that advice helps. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Kevin

That did it Kevin! Thanks. Although I tried creating a new project before and I cut and pasted everything in and that didn't work. Strange! Thanks again!
