Auto save was not working despite being set to 15 minutes. I went and found the most recent auto save file. It was missing most of the work I did today. The project had been open for an hour while I was away from my desk and nothing saved.
I began manually saving like a paranoid lunatic as a rebuilt everything I did in the morning. I come back hours later and nothing is saved. Again. After 8 hours and pressing command+S at least a hundred times I have 3 edits to show for it. And those were salvaged from yet another auto save file that was in a brand new folder I had to find.
What on Earth is happening?
I took the salvaged project and saved it under a new name. I can only hope it will save tomorrow. At least manually. I will never trust Adobe auto save again.
If anyone has any idea why this migh be happening please help me.
