Question

Project, sequences, bins

I am relatively new to PP. I have not learned how to use the concepts/tools "project, sequences and bins". I think the tutorials I find explain this too quickly, without going into detail.

When it comes to catalogue structure, I am used to Microsoft Word, and Mac´s Finder. I dont find my way in PP, it is not intuitive to me.

Is there a simple AND acurate explanation anywhere, preferably in a video?

A Project is a big bucket that contains everything under the sun you're using in your editing ... project. A Bin is a folder that can organize different things in your project. A Sequence is a timeline where you edit together everything you've imported into your Project and into different organized Bins to make your final edit.

And I couldn't agree more that you desperately need to get some basic training to understand how to use Premiere properly and efficiently.

Scott is not being sarcastic, he is telling you how it is.

Thank you. Maybe I will check it out, but I hope that my relatively simple question has a simpler answer.

Yes simple question not so simple answer, hence the advice to take a course.
