Question

Purple and Green Lines in footage after Update.

The Last time I update Premiere Pro I noticed all of my footage was Green and Purple and would stay that way even when I export. If I preview the Footage in Movies And TV on Windows 10, It plays in color and looks 100% normal. I tried converting the footage to many different formats and I've even changed some settings but the Footage is always Purple and Green. I Imported the Footage into After Effects and it was in color and the way I recorded it. I think this has to do with the recent update and I don't know what to do. Thanks for the help.

Check your graphics card, I can confirm this may was my underlying issue when i installed a previous version of Premiere Pro CC (2017) and I still had the same error; I would make sure your video/graphics card is fully updated.

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

    •nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    •ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version

When I Updated my Drivers, The Software said I already had the latest version. I use a GTX 1050 Card.

    Hi Snowmansolution,

Sorry for the trouble. Please check if there is an integrated Intel GPU configured in the machine.

If yes, the driver might be causing the issue. Try to update the driver to the latest version; if the issue persists, install an older version.

    Thanks,
