"save preset" is NOT working!

Save preset is not working. In the timeline, I select a clip. In the effects control window, I right-click on SAVE PRESET, but is grayed out! I've tried it many times, but is it not working. Help! I have the latest version, 11.1.2. Help!

Same issue,not able to save my different effects in one preset,

Not the same issue (OP is asking about fixed effects)

Yours is about Standard effects: highlight all effects first (hold down ctrl), then right click

I also trashed preferences and did not solve the issue

You need to select the effect parameters you want to save as part of the preset, then right click.

I selected the parameters and it's still greyed out.

Is this a new or old project?

If Premiere is acting weird trash preferences by holding down shift+alt while opening premiere.
