Re-synchronize audio in preview?
So I have this happen A LOT, and I'm wondering what I can do about it. I'm editing a bunch of MP4 files that are all recorded at 25 FPS with 32KHz audio -- they're all a bunch of Zoom presentations.
Anyway, I add a couple to the timeline and do a couple of cuts and all of a sudden the audio is out of sync when I play the preview. Maybe I've done editing to the audio and maybe I haven't -- it doesn't seem to matter one way or the other.
The ONLY WAY I have found to get the stupid thing to sync up properly again is to save the project, exit Adobe Premiere Pro entirely, then re-load PP and re-load the project. Then it's magicially all synced up again. And stays that way for awhile. In fact, it usually stays that way until I start a new project.
But it shouldn't happen at all -- why does it happen? How do I fix it when it does happen WITHOUT exiting this stupid program and going back into it?
Everything I Google talks about audio not syncing on export -- I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT EXPORT!!! I'm talking about when I'm playing the video in the preview panel. Why does it get out of sync, and then go back into sync when I close and re-load Premere Pro and re-load the project?
