Is there a way to reverse image search footage from an exported QuickTime to the source? Need to rebuild an assembly.

When you add video/pictures/sound to a timeline your file's identities are maintained in the project file

When you export to a new video NONE of that identity information is passed along to the new video

Not an exact analogy, but consider this...

Mix flour & yeast & water, and maybe an egg... put the mix in a baking pan and bake a loaf of bread

Give someone a slice of that bread and ask them to identify the brands of flour & yeast & egg
