Relink broken

I'm on Premiere 23.2 on MacOS 11.7.7, 2019 Mac Pro.

I've tried upgrading to 23.4 (and recently 23.5), but both versions seem to change how relinking works.

I used to be able to check the "Relink others automatically" box, and all the media relative to the media I selected (on different drives, folders, etc.) would relink. Now, in the newer versions, only the media in the current folder relinks, which makes it incredibly time-consuming when I'm dealing with multiple drives & folders every time I relink (which I do several times a week when I get projects from other editors).

What's going on here?
