Remix: do remixed tracks export properly via AAF or OMF?

I checked the manual on this but didn't see anything. Has anyone exported an OMF or AAF with music tracks that have been remixed? And if so did they come across with the remix edits in place or did they cause problems? I'm finishing a corporate gig and they want to send it out for a mix STAT and I haven't had time to test the output yet. I've used remixed tracks from Audition before but they were mixed down already; have yet to try sending them in an OMF/AAF directly out of Premiere and wondering if I should output each track to a WAV and lay them back in to be safe.

Has there been any more information on this topic?  I have editors sending me OMF's of Premiere projects using Remix quite often and there are edit problems with audio sliding and sometimes not long enough.  Would like to know what the proper workflow is for exporting an OMF or AAF from a project that has Remix audio in it.  Thanks!

I just sent an AAF with remixed songs to an audio editor and did not get any reports of issues.

 

If you're seeing problems with OMF, maybe have the editors do a quick export of each remixed track and have them replace the remixes in their OMF output. Better safe than sorry.

The AAF of remix musictrackes are not exported correctly. The sequence will be shot up. That's really bad,

I had success one week ago creating AAFs from remixed tracks, but this week I encounter an error with every attempt to export. If I remove the remixed track, export is fine, so the export module appears to function as expected.

 

For all the time savings inherent in the remix function, I have not only lost that time but now must manually re-create the tracks the remix function made and have to invest that time as well. I've tried all of our standard approaches to getting things rolling again (re-starts, re-installation, going backward a version) all to no avail.

 

Alas...

    Thanks Kevin! I did a test already with AAF and split mono tracks and it seemed to work okay. I'll be sending out to proper DAW workflow soon so I'll report back with any issues.
