Remove Subfolders from being imported

In Premiere 2022 and 2023, whenever I would upload my SD card with the footage that I shot, premiere would not include the sub folders each video is in. I absolutley loved having that since I work in broadcast, I need to see all my clips in one and not filter through each subfolder.

Unfortunatley in Premiere 2024, now whenever I upload my CLIP folder from my SD card to Premiere, all the subfolders come up with it. Is there anyway I can adjust my settings to where the subfolders don't occur?? Thanks in advance.

Media Browser?

If these are canon files use the XF utility to extract the files from each folder.

Is there a setting in premiere that would block the subfolder from being created? I can't seem to find anything on the camera itself that would stop making subfolders for each clip (working with a Sony EX camera)

Correction: I do see that going through media browser works, I wanted to see if there's anyway I can not have that subfolder occur when uploading footage into my project bin.
