Removing Haze in Premiere... elements has the function?

I have a shot where there is haze. I googled "Premier Pro CC haze removal" and the only thing that comes back are references to Adobe Premier Elements. It even mentions a "Haze Removal effect". I can't find anything like that in Pro or even CC 2018. Any ideas on how I can clear it up? Thanks so much everyone!

This sounds like it might work, but can you explain how in a little more details please? I've been using Premiere for a couple of years but have really only needed to do straight forward editing. Thank you very much!

use premiere's cineon converter effect. its 32bpc

cineon log to log

gamma 5

then add a lumetri effect to clean it up

contrast 90

shadows 100

blacks -44

if you have photoshop, its camera raw has the same haze removal effect. create a smart object for the video in it.

Jim's right, there's no "haze" filter that I'm aware of either. You deal with haze by using contrast controls, typically with a feathered mask.

I remember a duplicate as soft light worked really well. it removed the whitish look. I think a luma matte to protect the shadows as well...

There's nothing built-in.  If it's possible, it would be a third-party plug-in.
