Removing skin blemishes in Premier Pro

I have a short piece of footage about 4 seconds long which unfortunately shows some poor make-up on the actor. It looks like the side of their face is bruised and is quite noticeable. I have been searching various forums/youtube etc but it seems to point towards After Effects.... I wondered whether there was a method of removing or cloning a moving image in Pr so as to hide it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply's... really appreciate the advice and have had a look at Red Giant Cosmo.... However, regarding Premier Pro... would you be able to point me towards an actual method/technique I can practice, as I would like to see whether I can use this before paying $99 for Cosmo.

This kind of work is not really for Premiere.

Either use the plugin or head over to AE.

If you dont have AE you could try this technique in Premiere.

There are some things an experienced editor can do to minimize skin problems in PrPro, AfterEffects can do a lot more (and requires even more experience!) ... and there for-pay 3rd party plugins from several companies that offer pretty decent capabilities that are frequently easier to learn & apply ... but at an extra cost, of course.
