Rename clips in sequence

Is it possible to rename clips that are already part of a sequence? Can't find any info on this in the user guide.

Yeah, I tried that first but rename doesn't appear as an option.

You used to be able to rename one clip discretely, but if you rename a clip, all the source footage is renamed, as well.

You can rename clips in the timeline> If you turn off Show source clip and label name it wont change in the Project Panel.
