Render farm for Premiere

Would it be better to have five $800.00 computers or one $2800.00 computer? 

I've seen people set up transcoding 'farms' by having MediaEncoder with watchfolders on another computer on their network, moving files into those folders and having it auto-transcode things.

I don't know of any way to have processing within the current timeline say be handled on another computer.

Have you looked at Helmut FX & Helmut IO?  Or if you can program there is a white paper on how to build a render farm. but then you must be very skilled.

I am not aware of an app or plugin for Premiere Pro.

Do you mean for rendering the timeline or for exporting?

What are your specs? Premiere Pro renders fast enough for me.
