rendered previews disappear when the clip is moved to a different sequence

Hello,

I have two sequences. Seq1 and Seq2. I render both.

I create another sequence, Seq 3 and move clips in Seq1 and Seq2 to Seq3.

Now the rendered previews of the clips in Seq3 do not appear.  I have to re-render all the clips in Seq3.

Is there a way to preserve the rendered previews after moving clips to a different sequence?

Many thanks.

hey @sca_75  try this with same sequence setting for both 3 sequences.

If you change the sequence setting you need to render the clip again.

Create 3 same sequence with same sequence setting add media in sequence 1 and 2 render them and drag to same sequence 3 having same sequence setting, clips remains rendered.

Rendered previews are a sequence specific thing, from my experience. Rendering X sequence has no effect in Y sequence.

Nested sequence need to be rendered again even if the settings are the same.

Thanks for the help. This works for me. I noticed that if you create a subsequnce from a clip in a sequence, render then move the clip to another sequence then the renders disappears.

However when you right click on the vide asset and select "create sequence from clip" then foolow the same procedure, renders do not disappear.
