Rendering and export time of the file to video Adobe Premier Pro 2025 25.1

When I used Premiere pro 2024, during editing clips, the pre-rendering time of individual shots took a dozen seconds (qucik process mostly use after slowmo effect). When I rendered the project in its entirety to an HD/4k file - for 8 minutes of material it took 1-2 hours.

After the update, ( I didn't change anything in the computer software), the same operations take several minutes for a simple pre-render and even 13 hours for export to HD/4k movie (8 min movie) It's impossible to work this way. The thin bar on the timeline is still red and somehow forces me to pre-render all the time.

What shoul I do?

Ok, the reason the 25.x is not performing as well is that your CPU dates from around 2013, a "4th Gen" Intel CPU. Long out of any support from Intel, and only 4 cores.

Your 1050 GPU is still supported, but barely.

So from that, I can say that 24.x and previous versions would work better than 25.x and forward. Simply because the code of the 25.x Premiere assumes more modern hardware. It doesn't run as well on older gear.

Sad fact of life in computer working. They get old so freaking fast.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Without knowing anything useful about your situation, no one can offer help. Troubleshooting always requires data.

OS/CPU/RAM/GPU/vRAM, the type and number of drives in use and their connection, internal/external; the media involved and what created it. All effects used. Then we might be able to help.

I'm afraid we didn't understand each other. Until December last year, rendering effects took me very short time and the export to video itself took 2-3 hours ( 7-8 min clip to HD) . I didn't change anything on my computer or in the software settings. After the Adobe update, each clip in the edit after the slightest change lights up red and I have to render it. Currently, a 5-minute fragment takes 30 minutes to render, and after saving and restarting the program, the bar is red again. I changed the NVIDIA hardware requirements for ADOBE PREMIER PRO and tried to optimize the settings in the program itself, but it doesn't change anything. Working with this program in this form no longer makes sense 😞

Again, without knowing your hardware and media, no one here can say anything probably useful. Whether "it makes sense" or not isn't useful. It's absolutely necessary in all troubleshooting. Period.

There are several things that could be in play here, I'm not interested in writing an if this, then that, but if this, then X sort of post.

I sincerely apologize, I have never used this form of communication. The problem itself is also complex for me. I am attaching information about the system, maybe it will help somehow. Thank you for your understanding and patience
