Question

Replace license plate with own texts

I am trying to replace my license plate with other texts. I have figured out how to mask out the original plate, but I couldn't find any tutorial on how to replace it with my own texts. All I could come up with is to add another text sequence, but I don't know how to link the text to where I masked out so it could move with the plate.

Since premiere pro is my only software, is there a way to replace the texts on my license plate without using After Effects? Or how should I link my text sequence to the part that I masked out?

(in the screenshot attached below, I have masked out my plate. And I wanted to replace it with texts "adobe")

As Premiere doesn't have any tracking features in it, you either have to pay for After Effects and use it's amazing features, or if you want to go the free route and take a bit of time to learn, you can actually use Blender as it has some really good tracking features in it with video compositing as well. Or Davinci resolve perhaps. Otherwise if you are actually only going to use Premiere then it's a manual job to the end. If you've masked it then you can use that same process to add your own stuff and just move/warp/scale it to match throughout your shot as you go with keyframes.

Thank you for the reply. As I am only making the vlog for fun, I guess I'll have to manually adjust and match them in premiere pro.

You'll want to use motion tracking. After Effects is going to be your best bet here, you can see tutorials like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAlvDJcrBRU
