Replacing asset

I might be missing this but can't see it. In DVDSP I can replace a timeline movie by simply 'replace asset'. Is there a similar function in Encore, it would be SO much easier than building a timeline again. I have to cut about 3 seconds from the media and rebuild the project.

Right click on the asset (not the timeline). Pick "replace asset."

It must be the same type. The name should be different. You may need to adjust the timeline length.

Oh thank you, I tried ctrl click but it didn't give me anything. I'll swap for a PC mouse with right click then. Good job.

You can also select the asset in the project panel, and then File -> Replace Asset
