Resources to learn the basics of video editing in Premiere?

Not strictly speaking about Premiere Pro, but does Adobe have any resources regarding the basics of video editing, where one can learn about basic terms such as aspect ratio, timebase, maximum bit-depth, etc, just any kind of setting that are part of the software that a beginner might not know about.
