Restoration Of Video When Accidentally Deleted

Yesterday i ran in this problem again. The best solution is the possibillity to select (parts of the) edits on the timeline and lock them or secure them so they can't be deleted. The solution of our guy VideoRevealed is just a part of the solution. 

I accidentally pressed Command + W when my timeline was selected...

You just closed the timeline and now you need to find it and reopen it. Nothing is lost or deleted.

If you can´t find it, just type in the word sequence in the search field in the Project panel. This will filter out all your sequences and now when you find it, just double click on it to open it and continue to edit on your project.

The two images are examples of what you will see depending of the View choosed in the Project panel.

I accidentally pressed Command + W when my timeline was selected in premier pro, and this caused all my things on my timeline to disappear. I need help!

I've gone and tried to do the history method to restore them back, but it doesn't work. 

Is there like a version history button in premier pro? (I lost so much work!)

P.S in my library full of my content I need, the footage and audio I have used have a little blue box on them (I'm pretty sure that means that particular footage/audio is being used in the timeline.
