Question

Reuse Adjustment Layer

I have Premire Pro 2020 and I would like to create a custome adjustment layer which I can use easily between, e.g., I am creating an adjustment layer which create a "zoom in" effect by using "Transform" effect and I would like to have a special layer for this "upgrade".

I would like to do the same thing for a "blank video".

Importing projects which has these adjustment layers won't help me because I have to apply the effects again (which I can save as preset) but still it seems to much effort.

Is there any quicker way to implement a reuse of adjustment layers?

There's also the new Productions mode for Premiere.

If you're running in Productions as I do, even as a single-person shop, it's pretty slick. Create projects within the the production you're working in for say the current year (as I've done) with the 'template' type objects whether adjustment layers or complex multi-track effects saved in them.

From any other project in that Production, you can grab and use assets from another project quickly, easily, cleanly, and no duplicated assets.

Make a default project.

Open, then resave to different name.
