Ripple delete acts like normal delete, it doesnt fill in the empty spaces, ive tried reseting my preferences but nothing changed.

    Continuous audio in another Audio Track will prevent a ripple.

    You can do Mark Clip (x) and then Extract ('), but that will introduce a jump in the source audio Clip that's in Audio Track 2.
