Ripple Delete

Hi,

There are some older posts on here concerning Ripple Delete and I've tried their suggested solutions but to no avail. I have the latest version of Premier Pro and Ripple Delete is defeating me! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, Ripple Delete, more often than not, is 'greyed out' when I try to use it. I have a long sequence of clips and images on the Timeline and removing a single image without Ripple Delete would involve a lot of unneccesary work.

I would be most grateful for any sensible advice to resolve this issue.

Depends: Ripple delete only works when there are no other clips (e.g. audio tracks) obstructing the action.

Ripple delete needs room in the timeline to ripple everything. If it cannot its grayed out.
