Ripple Trim Previous Edit to Playhead deletes multiple clips

I was editing yesterday and the shortcut was working perfectly fine but now everytime I use either the Ripple Previous or the Ripple Next it deletes a lot of clips. The weird thing is that, it will always cut the clips until there's a clip that isn't in the same track as the others (video demonstrations below).

This thing is making the editing process so slow and I don't know why it is happening, I was already working on this project yesterday and it was working. Does anyone know a fix for this?

My shortcuts are:

Q - Ripple Trim Previous Edit to Playhead
E - Ripple Trim Next Edit to Playhead

Thanks,
Diogo

You're V1 video later isn't selected, so the ripple is trimming the entire layer!

Make sure it's checked (blue) and you should be good to go! (Seems like you already found this solution). Happy editing!

You need to watch out for the target tracking.

Sorry but what does that mean? Where can I find that?

Oh never mind I found it, it was the "V1" that wasn't selected. Thank you Ann ❤️
