Rolling Credits in Premiere Pro

I am attempting to create rolling credits in Premiere Pro v 25.00 Build 61.  I don't see the "roll" check box and am not sure I am in the right location.  I have all the text functions, but don't see anything labeling it as "Essential Graphics".  When I click on Window at the top of the screen "essential graphics" isn't an option.  I do not have the text highlighted, but do have the timeline box with the text highlighted.

It's not very obvious but click on the empty line.

Wow. This makes absolutely zero sense.  Who would think to click in the empty line of the properties panel?

Hi @randyl49080844,

In Premiere Pro 2025, click onto the clip in the timeline to see the clip's controls in the Properties panel. Right now, you're seeing the text layer's controls.

Cheers,

Theresa

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

@Theresa Rostek @AnnikaKoenig  ... Imaginitive Ninja has a very good point. As ... who would ever think that clicking that blank space would 'open' the Credit Roll option?

Rather anti-intuitive. And given so many upgrades in v25, including ... as I'm finally getting used to the Properties panel's many little gems of selectiveness ... it would be nice if this wasn't a hidden feature.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Hi @R Neil Haugen,

Clicking on that space deselects the layer which brings forth the clip's properties.  Clicking on the clip in the timeline will show the clip's properties in the Properties panel. This is the same workflow as in previous versions.
