Question

Safely change bin-structure of mediabrowser-window

I am making a montage in which I use many (1000's) photo's divided over quite some different bins. The structure I use so far is purely flat: all bins are at the same (ground) level, there are no layers. However, in order to maintain the overview I want to place the bins in a layered stucture, e.g. by putting one bin in another bin.

How can I do this safely without loosing the connection of the photo's to the timeline? Or, in other words, how can I 'help' Premiere pro to keep finding the photo's even when the bin in which they are has been moved?

(I hope I have made myself clear, if not, sorry for that.)

I'm sure you won't have any issues but I would duplicate the project and try the moves on the dupe. If it all goes wrong you will still have the original.

Thank you for the trust and the good (and simple) advice. I am going to try.

Aditional question, how do I move a bin to another bin? See attachment. If I want to place the bin 'Selfies' in the bin 'Photo archive High res' and I try to select, move and drop 'Selfies', that doesn't work. Also cutting (and then pasting) the bin is not allowed. Do I do something wrong?

I can drag and drop or copy and paste without issue, I don't know why you can't. You could try it in icon view.
