Question

Scaling just one clip

I have a video that I am editing and different parts of the video need to be scaled differently. I have split the clips where the scale/position needs to change. However when I alter the scale in one they all change to the same. I tried nesting all the clips separately but that didn't work. I also tried scaling one clip and deleting the others and then reimporting the original video sequence for the next clip but its still scaled to the same settings as the nested clip! If I unscale it, it then changes the scale on my nested clip. How can I change it so I am just scaling each clip separately.

Hi so as you can see on my first clip it is scaled in a certain way but then the scaling stays for the second clip? If i change the settings in effect controls it alters the first nested clip as well?

Also, this might sound stupid but what if you put your clip on the V2 or V3 ? (different work layer per clip)

This sounds pretty weird.

Can you please post a few screenshots of what is happening?
