A student of mine has issue with Scene Edit Detection on .mp4 clips.
He is on Windows 10 and Pr 2022. Other students, or myself don't have this issue. What could the cause be that het gets the "Scene Edit Detection encountered a failure when analyzing the clip" -fail?

FYI:
There are no Windows Updates pending.
We have restarted the Computer, no succes
We have disabled GPU accelation, no succes

Same happening here, even after updaing to the 2024 (24.0.0 Build 58) - short or long... the lenght doesn't really matter, no, really - neither does format (MOV or MXF) it happens over and over as of recently.

Having this issue.  Premiere v23.6.2 (Build 6), Mac OS Ventura on Silicone.  Started with .mp4, then converted it a clean ProRes LT .mov, re-imported from scratch; same issue.  Not clear what the problem is.  Clip is < 10 mins.

I started Premiere holding the shift key and selected Clear media cache files and Reset pluging loading cache. It worked for me! Hope this helps you too.
