Scene Edit Detection not working since 23.3

Question

Ever since the more recent updates, scene edit detection has stopped working. In the newer versions when using the tool it only detects about 5% of the cuts in the video where in 23.2, it would detect every cut flawlessly.

What makes this issue very frustrating is that I find myself on a daily basis having to install and reinstall different versions just to do my job since you are unable to have 2 different versions of the same year installed simultaniously on the same system.

I have been trying scene edit 24.0.3 (build 2) for a few days. I right click on a clip, select scene edit detection, Premiere analyzes it, and then nothing has changed. The cut I gave it had gaps that needed to be edited out based on how this tool is advertised. Anyone have any ideas?
