when I open premiere pro an error message pops up saying screen resolution is below minimum required 1024 x 768.. my settings are at the recommended use of  3840 x 2160.. however when I close the message the image quality looks fine... how can I stop this message from popping up or can I just ignore it as long as the quality of the video looks fine??

Check your Windows display scaling settings. You see, Adobe programs, especially Premiere Pro, do not like display scaling in Windows set to anything higher than 100%. With laptop displays, Windows prefers using scaling settings so high that the effective resolution is reduced to only 1280 x 720 even though the display resolution is 3840 x 2160. This means that for your display, the scaling is set to 300% by default!
