Search text within .srt subtitle on timeline?

Hi,

I placed an .srt subtitle file directly onto my timeline, and it plays and reads great.

I'd like to know if there's a way to search specific the words within the .srt. Ie, if I want to go directly to specific

word within the .srt.

Using the usual Find tool doesn't work.

Thanks in advance,

Wayne

I agree that this does not work. Looks like a good feature request:

Premiere Pro: Hot (2223 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps

A workaround: open .srt in text editor. Search there; note timecode, and offset and go to that point in timeline.
