Select Range of Clips on Timeline

Question

Been using this software for many years but never had to select a group of clips (to adjust the duration on all). The usual windows select / shift does something else in pro. I had to select them one at a time with shift - click and unless you hit in exactly the center it unselects the whole group.

What I want to do (in two clicks) is select a bunch of clips (just still slides) by click on the first, click on the last with ???

Have you had a chance to select a group of clips and use the Mark Selection function? Also, if your clips happen to be the same label color, you can select one clip, right click and choose Label>Select Label Group.

There should also be a keybind to Deselect All w/o clicking in the empty space
