sequence name burn in

Is there a way to do a burn in that shows the sequence name? I don't see the option under Metadata & Timecode burn-in or Clip Name.

I don't see any options specfically for sequence name. Sequence clip name, Project clip name, yes, but Sequence Name - no.

Use Overlays ... in the Program monitor menu. I think Sequence name is an option there, and of course, you can set it for where you want it on the screen.

Will this get burned into exports? I'm looking for something that will be burned into exports (like a timecode burn in)

In Premiere's Export page, under the Effects section, it's called "Image overlay". In MediaEncoder, it's also under Effects as "Image overlay".

That option causes any overlay you have in the program monitor to be burned into the export video.

Under Effects, I only see

Not sure if there's an easier way to do this, but a quick work-around solution is to add an adjustment layer above everything on your sequence and apply the metadata burn-in to it. Rename your adjustment layer to match the sequence name, and then in the metadata settings select 'sequence clip name' and make sure you select the source track that the adjustment layer is on.

There's probably a better way to do this, but hope this helps!
