I'm very new to Premiere Pro and going into one of its first tutorials its referring to and talks about using a "sequence" as if I'm suppose to already know what a sequence is.  I don't, nor could I find anywhere that sequence is defined or explained. So my question is simple.

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF SEQUENCE?

Its just like a canvas in Photoshop but here it comes with a timeline. You create a canvas first, of your choice of size and BG and then add images to fit into it to make your image composition. Just like that you add videos to a sequence (which you define) and since it comes with a timeline you input some time attributes as well (Like FPS and time-code) which would be the attributes of the default output. Sequence also helps as a container for sequence within a sequence (Nesting) composing.

    Hope this Helps.

Any series of clips added together in the Timeline panel.
